PM Dahal, His Indian Counterpart Modi Meet

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', currently on an official visit to India, met with his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, on Sunday evening in New Delhi.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Dahal congratulated Prime Minister Modi on assuming the role of India's executive head for the third consecutive term and expressed optimism about the strengthening of Nepal-India relations under Modi's leadership.

The discussion covered a range of issues pertaining to bilateral interests and mutual relations between Nepal and India. Additionally, they reviewed the implementation of previous agreements and understandings between the two nations.

Prime Minister Dahal also attended the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Modi on Sunday evening. He was accompanied by his daughter, Ganga Dahal, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, and other high-ranking government officials.

Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to return to Kathmandu this evening.
